You Make Me Loopy
Happy Valentines Day! Don’t you just love Valentine parties at school. I have such fond memories of making a valentine box and passing out little cards with candy. However, what do you do when you cannot eat much of the candy kids pass out? And what “treat” can you give if you don’t want to give out candy? Or what valentine do you give the kids in class who have allergies? I have the best idea for you.
Kids love loopy, twisty straws! So use this free printable and attach them to the straw. I bought the straws at a local party store in packs of 36 or you can buy them on Amazon. For $18 I bought enough for all my kids classes (I bought two packs, we have big classes here in Utah). I don’t think you can buy candy and the cheep cards for that little. Plus, these are way cutter, don’t you think?
Just print the cards, whole punch them and slip them on the straw. You can use ribbon to tie it on or you can tape it on, like I did. Let you child sign there name at the bottom and you have a fun (plus ALLERGY FREE) valentine.
